I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you...For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2Timothy 1:6-7
No Christian leader can be continuously and completely satisfied in their ministry without God’s divine enabling - the glow, the fire and the power of the Holy Spirit. When a life is ablaze for God, it becomes an inspiration to others. As they see what God has done in our lives, they have confidence to believe God to work powerfully in their own lives and the lives of others. It gives them confidence that God will answer prayer, and make others want to obey God and draw near to God. Spurgeon, the great Baptist preacher, said, “We need red-hot, white-hot men who glow with intense heat; whom you cannot approach without feeling that your own heart is growing warmer.”
Every Christian leader should be an example and demonstration of Spirit-filled living. We should demonstrate such spiritual fervency and consistency that those who observe our lives should be attracted to seek after God.

Jesus, confirm my heart’s desire - To work, and speak and think for thee; Still let me guard the holy fire - And still stir up your gift in me. (Charles Wesley)
